
What This Heater Is Really About
Here’s the thing: we built this outdoor electric heater to be a straight-up workhorse. It’s a high-intensity halogen lamp, designed for industrial jobs where you need serious heat in a small footprint. We’re talking 400V and 2500W of power, packed into a 300mm tube. That combo isn’t random. It’s what gives you a huge amount of heat density without taking up a ton of space. You get a lot of punch from a very compact package.
The Inside Story
At the heart of it is a quartz tube, filled with halogen. That chemistry does a lot of heavy lifting—it keeps the filament stable and stops the lamp from darkening over time. So you get consistent heat, again and again. The quartz body can handle rapid heating and cooling, and it just shrugs off outdoor conditions. For the connections, we went with an R7s connector. It’s simple, secure, and makes wiring and swapping out units in the field straightforward. No fuss.
Where It Shines
This heater was made for outdoor and semi-exposed spots—think machine enclosures, process stations, or drying areas. It throws concentrated infrared heat, so it warms up targets fast. And because it focuses the heat, you’re not wasting energy warming the air around it. But wait—that 2500W of density creates a lot of local heat. So you need to plan your mounting and cooling.
